Stella Ann (Greene) Teasdale, 81 of Galena, IL passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel. She was born March 12, 1935 in Hanover, IL the daughter of Harold and Anna (Kirchner) Greene. Stella was united in marriage to Keith “Whitey” Teasdale on August 29, 1953 and he survives. She was a homemaker. Stella was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family. She is survived by her husband, Keith, one daughter, Kathleen Jo (Gary) Lolwing of Hazel Green, WI, five grandchildren, Jeremy (Nicole) Teasdale, Jeffry (Melissa) Lolwing, Danny (Brittany Soppe) Teasdale, Chrissy (Rusty DeShaw) Teasdale and Jesse (Jackie) Bell, ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timothy on August 10, 1981, one brother, Harold “Ike” Greene, a sister, Delcialee “Tiny” Frank, and a special aunt with whom Stella was raised, Ruth Mary Kirchner.
