Patsy Lee (Green) Streight, age 80 passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Funeral service will be Noon, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, IL. Friends may call after 10 AM at the Funeral Chapel until time of service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. Patsy was born and raised in rural Hanover, IL, daughter of the late Albert and Wilma (Shaw) Green. Patsy attended Oak Ridge Country School and later graduated from Hanover High School Class of 1955. Patsy married the love of her life, David L. Streight of Hanover on July 13, 1957 and celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage. Patsy worked as a supervisor for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company and later for Eaton Corporation and Honeywell Micro Switch. Following retirement she enjoyed travelling, shopping, gardening, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, their sporting events and activities, and spending time with family and friends. She was a generous and compassionate lady who always put the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed by her husband, David, sons, Rick and Ron of Galena, Timothy (Sherry) of Hanover, IL and her daughter, Jill (Chris) Little of San Diego, CA, her sisters, Nancy Meneguin, Sandy Thoeni and Mary (Wayne) Turner, grandchildren, Annika (Rommel), Christy (Warren Gall), Stacy, Brooke, Rachel, Timothy, Ryan and Nathan and her great-grandchildren, Claire, Teagan, Caleb, Adan, Braden, Payson, Phoenix, Daxten, Maylen and an expected great-granddaughter as well as her many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother in-law, Lloyd and Ola (Rogers) Streight, sister, Joyce Hahn and brothers, Robert and William Green, son-in-law, Chris Little, brothers-in-law, Luke and Roger Streight, Maurice Hahn, Robert Meneguin and David Thoeni.
