Timothy D. “Buck” White, 58 of Galena, IL passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He fought long and hard for many years.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. He was born February 21, 1962, in Dubuque, IA the son of William and Beverly (Talmadge) White. Tim graduated from Galena High School. He was united in marriage to Cheryl Wand on October 15, 1983, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Elizabeth, IL. He was known for his kind soul and open-door hospitality. Whether it was at his home or White’s Berry & Produce Farm. His kind smile and spirit made everyone feel welcome. Tim loved hunting, farming, and most of all his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, son, Chad (Tammy), daughter, Katie and two grandchildren, Molly and Mason, two sisters, Sue (Paul) Glick, of Galena, and Rose (Jerry) Goman, of Spring Valley, WI,  two brothers, Randy (Jenny) White, of Stevens Point, WI, and Andy (Holly) White, of Conway, AR, his father in-law, Dale Wand, of Elizabeth, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother in-law, Judy Wand. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque especially his nurse Jessica S. for always being there. In lieu of flowers or plants donations may be made Hospice of Dubuque in Tim’s memory.
