Tammara Kumbera, 56, died peacefully in her sleep at home in Galena Tuesday morning June 25, 2019 following a tragic battle with cancer. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. She was a graduate of the University of Phoenix with majors in psychology and accounting. She is survived by her son Steven, of Galena and her daughter Laura, with her three young granddaughters, all residents of Tennessee; her mother Karen, of Galena; her brother Greg, of California; and her sister Tracy, of Arizona. Tammy requested cremation and her ashes spread at her favorite fishing spot in Tennessee and the ocean near her home in Florida. She was a rebel at heart with a wayward soul and is deeply missed by her friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at the Log Cabin Guest House, Galena at a later date.
