Shelley Robin Busch-Kubik, 52, of Loveland, CO, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Loveland. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena, IL, where friends may gather after 10 AM until the service begins. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Galena. She was born on August 13, 1973, in Galena, the daughter of William A. and Gail (Root) Busch. Shelley attended Galena High School and graduated in 1991, and earned a degree from Madison Area Technical College. She worked in IT for the Wisconsin Water Department. Shelley enjoyed playing the saxophone in her youth, karaoke, dancing, rollerblading, skiing, and scratch-off lottery tickets. She loved being outdoors. Shelley is survived by her two sons, Shawn McCarron of Middleton, WI, and Keven McCarron of Loveland; three brothers, Chad Busch of Blue Mounds, WI, Josh Regan of Cross Plains, WI, and Todd (Livvia) Regan of Edgerton, WI; and her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

I’ll always remember the way you showed up for your Mom- I have an especially sweet memory of sitting across from her at her kitchen table. We were chatting, while you were elbow deep in beautiful deep auburn paint, carefully covering her roots!
