Sandy Miller, 77 of Galena, IL passed away at her home on April 16, 2019, with her family by her side. A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, May 20, 2019 for her family. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel & Tri-State Cremation Services, Galena is assisting the family. She was born on May 20, 1941, in Fort Wayne, IN. Sandy attended Canal Winchester High School where she graduated in 1959. This is where she met her future husband Dave, who she married on September 2, 1961. She attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Sandy enjoyed barbershop chorus, music, gardening, and her family. She is survived by her husband, Dave of Galena, her son, Craig of Galena; a daughter Diane (Stan), of Elizabeth, IL; grandsons Sean (Megan) and Chris Carter, of Galena; a granddaughter, Katie (Shawn) Meusel of Schapville, IL and great-grandchildren, Eric, Luke, and Sidney. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Mark Craig; and her son-in-law Kurt Carter.
