Rick “Moses” Barry, 59 of Shullsburg, WI passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Francis De Sales Church, Hazel Green, WI. Friends may gather from 3 to 7 PM, Monday April 17, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena and after 10 AM Tuesday at the church until time of Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. He was born June 28, 1957 in Hazel Green, WI the son of Maurice and Elaine (Furlong) Barry. He was a graduate of Hempstead High School, Dubuque. Rick was currently employed at Flexsteel, Dubuque where he has worked for the past eighteen years. He enjoyed the outdoors but especially loved riding his Harley. Rick was a member of Beowulf Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by the love of his life, his daughter, Lacee Elaine Barry, three sisters, Kathy (Steve) Read, Colleen Barry and Tina (Darin) Dean, four nieces, Amy Varner, Tessa Read, Heather Dean and Shelby Hermsen, six nephews, Rich Barry, Alex Baier, Devin, Dillon, Derrick and Drew Dean, great niece, Taylor Cooper, special friend, Donna Jane Selle, his best friend, “Art” the African Grey Parrot, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael T. Barry. The family requests no flowers.
