Paul David Murphy, 63 of Shullsburg, WI went to his eternal rest on Sunday, August 29, 2021. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from Noon to 6 PM at the Shullsburg Community Townsend Center, 190 Judgement St., Shullsburg, WI. A time of love and sharing is scheduled at 4 PM with a luncheon afterward. The family is being served by The Furlong Funeral Home, Shullsburg. He was born June 8, 1958, in Dubuque, IA the son of Thomas E. and Marian Geneva (Skinner) Murphy.  Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sue Obee Murphy; three sons, Caleb Murphy of Watertown, WI, Isaac, and Benjamin Murphy both of Shullsburg, his siblings, Philip Murphy of Tomah, WI, Patricia (Tom) Murphy Schrodt of Dubuque, Dennis K. (Merilee) Murphy of Oak Harbor, WA and Charlotte Stockel of Cashton, WI, four grandchildren, Blake, Lexus, Isabel, and Declan along with a host of broken-hearted nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Bernard Stockel, and his siblings, Howard A. Murphy, Florence Murphy Mills, Thomas F. Murphy, and Richard E. Murphy. A special thank you to all those who sent messages of condolences to each family member. Paul was the baby of our family and will be so very missed by his wife, siblings, and families along with his children and grandchildren. “Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
