Patrick Nee Hulls, 80 of Galena, IL passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Midwest Medical Center, Galena. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena where friends may call after Noon until the time of service. A private family burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. He was born October 7, 1942, in Aurora, IL the son of Clark and Pauline (Nee) Hulls. Pat graduated from Aurora East High School with the class of 1960. He went on to attend Lewis University in Joliet, IL. Pat was united in marriage to Susan Patricia Johnson on October 27, 1990, in St. Charles, IL. He was the former owner and entrepreneur of The Performance Shop, a speed shop in Aurora. He loved his corgis, farming, and raising his registered herd of Black Angus cattle. Pat was a true outdoorsman riding and driving his horses, caring for his cows, and taking care of his residences. He enjoyed spending time in his wood shop making rocking horses for his grandchildren. Pat is survived by his wife, Susan, three sons, Christopher (Jennifer), Timothy, and Jeremy (Katrina) Hulls, and five grandchildren, Anna, Chuck, Lily, Emma, and Hannah. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Midwest Medical Center, and Drs Vandigo and Green. In Pat’s memory memorials may be given to St. Jude.
