Patrick M. McGuire, 53 of Galena, IL passed away suddenly at his home Friday, May 15, 2015. Family and friends may gather from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. He was born November 25, 1961 in Dubuque the son of Michael and Sharon (Olson) McGuire. Patrick was a kindred spirt and musician who loved his family and friends. He liked to entertain people and make them smile. He will be remembered by those that he loved because he always showed us his loving gentle side. He is survived by his parents, a sister, Debra (William) Bennett of Warren, IL, two brothers, Scott and Tim McGuire of Dubuque, a special brother, Jim Peters and his family, as well as Charlie and Jeannie Peters, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who adored Uncle Pat. He will forever be in our hearts. The family requests no flowers.
