Pamela “Pam” Roberts

Pamela Rae “Pam” Roberts, 73, of Lena, IL, and formerly Galena, passed away on July 11, 2025, at 12:27 AM at SSM Monroe Hospital, surrounded by family. Per her wishes, a private family gathering will be held later. She was born on May 27, 1952, in Hazel Green, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Herrick) Westemeier. Pam graduated from Galena High School as part of the class of 1970. She married Larry Roberts on October 17, 1970, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Galena. She went on to take on various roles that involved working with people and helping others, always with a smile. She loved contributing to the American Cancer Society, garage sales, crafting, cooking, BINGO, fishing, boating, street rodding, and most of all, her family. Wherever she was or whatever she was doing, she loved being with her friends and family and living life to the fullest. Pam’s survivors include her husband Larry Roberts, two daughters: Tina Abbott and Amy Jo Roberts, three grandchildren: Nevaeh Roberts, Ava and Blake Abbott, four siblings: Jerry (Debbie) Westemeier, Paula Lyden, Patti (Larry) Eggers, Tim (Jennifer) Westemeier, and her beloved dog Toby; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several grand pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tommy and Terry Westemeier, a sister, Marianne Westemeier, and a nephew, Jeremy Westemeier.
