Michael Todd Wachter, 47, of Galena, IL and son of John and Marian Wachter passed away Thursday, January 24, 2018 at Amberwood Care Centre, Rockford, IL. There will be no public services and burial will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. He loved music, Burger King and visits from his family and the kindness of his caregivers. Michael had a funny unique sense of humor and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, John (Margaret) and Donald, one sister, Mary Beth, uncles, aunts and cousins. The family requests donations be made to Goldie B. Floberg Center, Rockford or The Jo Daviess County Workshop, Galena in memory of Michael.
