Michael “Mike” Molitor, 70, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, due to health issues. A gathering will be held from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. He was born May 2, 1953, in Hazel Green, WI the son of George and Donna Jean (Davis) Molitor. He had a very full and exciting life with demolition derby and stock car racing. But his true love was owning, driving, and restoring classic cars. He is survived by his wife Sheila, his children, Bryan Fitting, Georgia Molitor, Greg Fitting, Megan Molitor, and Heather Bryan, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Jerry, Tim (Vicky), and Tony, and a brother-in-law, Jon Gabric, and his many nieces and nephews.
