Mariann T. Addabbo, 75 of Dubuque, IA and formerly of Galena, IL died Monday, July 17, 2017 at Ennoble Manor, Dubuque, IA. Funeral mass will be 11 AM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Galena, where friends may gather after 10:30 AM at the church until time of mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. She was born October 3, 1941 in Dubuque the daughter of Leo and Alvena (Larson) Addabbo. Mariann attended Viterbo College, LaCrosse, WI where she earned her degree as a Medical Technician and later went onto to earn her Nursing Degree from Clarke University, Dubuque. She worked for Medical Services Laboratory, Dubuque for twenty years until her retirement. Mariann was a life-long member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.  She is survived by her brother, Don (Irene) Addabbo of Phoenix, AZ, two sisters, Kay (Tom) Deprez of Monroe, WI and Theresa Kaiser of Libertyville, IL and eight nieces and four nephews whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, John, William and Leo Jr., a sister in infancy, Roseann.
