Lawrence “Larry” H. Daniels, of Galena, IL and formerly Chicago passed away April 17, 2022. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services. Burial of his cremated remains will take place in Abraham Lincoln Military Cemetery, Joliet, IL. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. Larry served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from the Chicago Fire Department in 2003, with the rank of Captain. He leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his wife, Annette Murray, two stepchildren, Jenna Murray, and Sean (Silvana) Murray, one grandson, Michael, and a brother, Rich (Marilyn) Daniels. Those who knew and loved him will understand his wish to forego the funeral service. Instead, whenever you hear the rumble of a motorcycle, take a moment to think of him in better days.
