Joyce Ann Vaughn Wheeler Wilson, 83, of Pewaukee, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 5, 2018, at Angel’s Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc, WI. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, IL and where family and friends may gather after 10 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. Cremation rites have been accorded. She was born in Galena on August 18, 1935, the daughter of Kenneth “Pat” and Hazel (Green) Vaughn. Joyce was married to Robert E. Wheeler and Kenneth C. Wilson they both preceded her in death. She is survived by her eight children; Michael (Jeanine) Wheeler of Cape Coral, FL, Daniel Wheeler of Sugar Grove, WV, Joel (Kelly) Wheeler and John Wheeler both of Woodruff, WI, Lisa (Randy) Robb of Cape Girardeau, MO, Renee (Maggie) Wheeler of Jacksonville, FL, Amy (Mike) Harty of Pewaukee, WI and Eric Wheeler, of Waukesha, WI; nine grand-children, Christopher, Sean, Adam, Jake, Kyle, Kali, Shane, Micah and Megan; six great-grandchildren, Bethany, Gavin, McKenzie, Bridget, Hazel and Zeke; a sister, Patricia (Edward) Glasgow, of Everett, WA, a brother-in law, Richard “Dick” Miller, of Galena and four nieces, one nephew and seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands; an infant brother, John and a sister, Connie Miller of Galena and a nephew, Jay Glasgow.
