Jane Ann Wickler, 78 of Galena, IL passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital, Rockford. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. A private family burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. She was born March 16, 1938 in Tennyson, WI the daughter of Glen and Luella (Bresee) Montgomery. Jane graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1956.  Jane was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and watching her children and grandchildren grow-up. She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy and Tracy (Joe Cook) Wickler both of Galena, two grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse Sites) Wickler and Alex Cook, both of Galena and two great-grandsons, Hayden and Hudson, special friend, Bill Wiegman of Hazel Green, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy  Wickler in infancy, two daughters, Linda Wickler and Christine Wickler in infancy, and a grandson, Glen Cook. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Emergency Room staff at Midwest Medical Center and the staff at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital.  Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
