Florence Faye Heidenreich, 96, of Elizabeth, IL passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Galena Stauss Senior Care Community. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 16, 2022, in Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, IL. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family.  She was born April 1, 1926, in Woodbine Township the daughter of Delbert and Ella (Schreck) Heidenreich. Faye attended Woodbine school for nine years and graduated from Elizabeth High School with the class of 1944.  She worked at Blackhawk Café, Elizabeth where she met Lawrence Welk a story she enjoyed telling. Faye worked as a bookkeeper for Breed’s Electric Service, her brother Eldon’s construction company, Albrecht Brothers Construction, and Cobine Implement Dealer as well as several others. She bowled for several years and loved going to tournaments. Faye enjoyed traveling especially with her friends and bowling partners. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Elizabeth. Faye is survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins and one sister-law, Diane Heidenreich. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Eldon, Dwight, Laverne, and Allen, three sisters, Helen, Elva Atz, and Florence, three sisters-in-law, Belva, Evelyn, Viola, a brother-in-law, Alvin Atz.
