Edward M. Robinson Sr., 79, of Scales Mound, IL passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home. Funeral service will be Noon, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena and where friends may call after 11 AM until time of the service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL following the service. He was born February 22, 1940 in Freeport the son of Benjamin and Ruth (Kettle) Robinson. Ed retired from farming and enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his dog “lil Freda”. He is survived by his eight children, Deb (Rich) Glass, Edward M. Robinson Jr., Myrna (Carl) Summers, Marie (Bobby) Steig, Teresa (Jamie Ahrens) Robinson, Timothy (Terra) Robinson, Henry B. (Beth) Robinson and Norm (Paula) Holmes, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his significant other, Freda Holmes, his ex-wife, Mary E. (Jacobs) Robinson and his sister, Cathy Robinson.
