Dolores Agnus Kriebs, 88 of Cedar Rapids, IA, and formerly of Galena, IL died Tuesday, June 23, 2020, in Cedar Rapids, IA. Graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 26, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Galena. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is overseeing local arrangements. She was born on July 16, 1931, in Galena the daughter of Peter and Mary Elizabeth (Even) Kriebs. One of her greatest joys is knowing that her birthday fell on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She worked various jobs throughout her life in the Galena and Cedar Rapids areas. Dolores is survived by her multiple nieces and nephews and their families, whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings, Arnold (Eleanor Schoenfeld) Kriebs, Edmond I. (Jean Clancy) Kriebs, Louis (Helen Garrison) and (Ilsa Kriebs), Earl (Mary Happy) Kriebs, Veronica (Albert Westemeier), Florence (Elmer Herman) and (Omar Hatfield), Helen (Leonard DayLonais), Laura (Robert Stafford).
