Once her parenting duties settled down, Ingrid enjoyed a variety of activities including music, reading, embroidery, and completing word searches. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows-Rebekahs, and the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, all in Galena. Additionally, she served as a former Cub Scout Den Mother. Ingrid is survived by one son, Marc (Amy Ressler) Muehleip of Dubuque, IA; one daughter, Darcy Muehleip of Galena; two granddaughters, Valerie and Zoe Muehleip; one grandson, Max (Maya Gascoyne) Muehleip, and their children, Magnus, Maple, and Maven; a daughter-in-law, Patt Sargent Muehleip of Shullsburg, WI; four sisters-in-law, Mary Glanman, Cora Glanman, Connie Muehleip, and Carolyn Bussan; and many nieces and nephews. Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Scott and Brett, a daughter, Erin Muehleip, her siblings and their spouses—Greta (Richard) Glidden, Arleen (John) Brobeck, Jeannine (Sherman) Childs, Thomas Glanman, and John Glanman—as well as her in-laws and their spouses, Delbert (Margaret) Muehleip, Paul (Marilyn) Muehleip, Norman “Huck” Muehleip, Darrel “Doc” (Mary) Muehleip, Joyce (Alvin) Sanderson, and Richard Bussan. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Ellen Wienen, and two nephews, Kevin Glidden and Ron Glanman. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mercy One, Stonehill Health Center, and Hospice of Dubuque for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
