Sending my sincere sympathy to all. I saw Jim daily last Falll as I visited with my sister in the nursing home. Always talking Galena sports as he was so keenly interested in the Pirates. He will be sadly missed.

I’m really sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I had the privilege of playing fast pitch softball with Schoey. I remember when Booker called me and asked me to play with the Merchants in a tournament.
I played centerfield and Jim played left field. Having never played with Jim, I thought he might take offense when I called for a fly ball in left center.
He looked at me and said “You take ANY fly ball that you can get to. I was so relieved!
Pooch and Megan, your dad was a dear friend!
Megan and Pooch,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Thinking of you guys and your families.
