Diann Carol Marsh, 88, of Galena, IL passed away on February 18, 2024, at Galena Stauss Senior Community. Her loved ones will celebrate her life on March 16, 2024, at 2 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, Galena. Friends are welcome to gather at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest in the church columbarium. The Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena is assisting the family. Diann was born on July 15, 1935, in Peoria, IL, to Eldon and Virginia (Taylor) Travis. She was united in marriage to Robert Marsh on October 16, 1953, in Santa Ana, CA. Diann enjoyed oil canvas painting and researching historical towns. She was an active member of several historical preservation organizations. Diann is survived by her husband, Robert, and their children, Elaine (Paul) Rumaker, Randy (Elaine) Marsh, Kevin Paul (Vivian) Marsh, Eric (fiancee’ Andrea) Marsh, Ginger Huff, and Rodney Marsh. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Ethan, and two sisters-in-law, Sharon Fauber and Louise Jones. Diann was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Robin in 1997, an infant son, Kevin Andrew, one brother, Glenn, and a sister, Elizabeth.
