Anne M. “Dolly” Martin, nee Billish, age 83, of Galena, IL, and beloved wife of Berney Martin for 29 years. Passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  A gathering will be held from 2 to 6 PM, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Robert J. Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home, 9000 West 151^st Street, Orland Park, IL 60462. A prayer service will begin at 5 PM at the funeral chapel. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting in local arrangements. Her biggest joys were laughing with the love of her life and spending time with her family, friends, and Tiki. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, golfing, and card making.  She was a beautiful, strong woman with a big, grateful heart and fully enjoyed her life. She and Berney were devoted to each other as only soulmates can be. Her memory leaves an afterglow, full of smiles and happy times. Like the sun on cloudy days, Anne’s spirit will live on in all those who loved her and the generations to follow. Loving and caring mother of Richard (Bob Nielsen) Lawler, Michael Lawler, Margaret (the late Randy) De Salvo, Maureen (Paul) Gardner, Deanna (John) Rolence, and her little pride and joy, Tiki. Proud grandmother of Brittany, Brandon, Tessa (Jeff), Aaron, Paul (Maura), John, and Kayleigh. Cherished great-grandmother to Jeffrey and Elizabetta, and baby girl Gardner (due in November). Dear sister of George, Earl, Tom, and the late Richard, James, David, and John.  Adored sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Anne’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
