Timothy R. Greene, 20 of Edgewood, IA and formerly Galena, IL passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident ½ mile south of Greeley, IA. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Galena. Friends may call from 1 to 4 PM, Sunday at the Furlong Funeral Chapel. He was born October 17, 1994 in Dubuque, IA the son of Scott and Theresa (Krohmer) Greene. Tim graduated from Galena High School class of 2013. He went onto further his education at NICC, Peosta where he graduated on the dean’s list as an Industrial Electrician. He was currently employed at Georgia Pacific, Dubuque. Tim loved fishing, camping, working on his truck and motorcycle and hanging out with his friends. He loved small towns so his move from Galena to Edgewood was an easy one. He is survived by his parents, Scott (Theresa) Greene of Galena, a brother, Matthew (Lizzy) of Norfolk, VA, his paternal grandmother, Kathy Greene of Marshfield, MO, maternal grandfather, Gary Krohmer of Galena, two uncles, Kenny (Cathy) Greene and Justin Krohmer, his aunt, Melissa (Greg) Reynolds and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Greene, his maternal grandmother, Susan Krohmer.
