Richard Sigafus, also known as “Ricky” passed away peacefully on October, 14, 2017 at the age of 39. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Centenary United Methodist Church, Shullsburg, WI where friends may gather after 10 AM at the church until time of service. Burial will be in West Ella Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, IL is assisting the family. Everyone that knew Ricky, knew how much his family and friends meant to him. He was the type of man that left an imprint on your heart the first time you met him. He never missed out on his nieces and nephews birthday parties, family reunions, family holidays and cookouts. He had various hobbies and interests, but was quick to express his love of sports and wrestling. Ricky had a great passion for fishing, hunting and reading. He will forever be remembered by his siblings, James (Heather Rau) Sigafus, Brandon (Heather) Hoey, Jessica (Dylan Bausman) Hoey, his nephews, Bentley and Bryan Hoey, Harrison Bausman, his nieces, Katlyn and Shelby Fuerstenberg, Bailey Huett and Brooklyn Bausman and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Sigafus and Wendy (Risser) Hoey.
