Marilyn J. Musselman, 75 of Galena, IL passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Galena Stauss Senior Care Community. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Where friends may gather after 9 AM until the time of service at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. Cremation rites have been accorded. She was born April 8, 1941 in Galena the daughter of LaVerne “Jiggs” and Ruth Fowler. She was united in marriage to Muzzy Musselman on June 25, 1960 in Galena and he survives. Marilyn worked for Eaton Corporation, Hanover until her retirement in 2001. She enjoyed camping, cooking, reading and her day tripping with Muzzy. She is survived by her husband, Muzzy of Galena, a daughter, Mitzi Schuster of Cuba City, WI, one granddaughter, Holly (D.J.) Shireman of Cuba City and one great granddaughter, Lilly Shireman. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Marci and a brother David.
