Joseph G. Rice, 61 of Galena, IL passed away August 15, 2016 at his home. In keeping with his wishes there will be no public visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. He was born September 28, 1954 in Chicago the son of Norman and Martha (Lloyd) Rice. Joe was united in marriage to Ann Storjohann and she survives. He was an electrical contractor for over thirty years until his retirement. Joe is survived by his wife, Ann, two sons, Joseph Jr and Patrick, a daughter, Kelly and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
