Herbert Thomas Bruser, 84 of Galena, IL and formerly Roselle, IL died on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Manor Care, Dubuque, IA. In keeping with his wishes there will be no public services. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. He was born on September 25, 1932 in Chicago the son of Paul and Margaret (Huber) Bruser. Herb graduated from Oak Park High School and then served in the United States Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1955. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ketchum on February 16, 1954 and she survives. Prior to his retirement, Herb operated his business, Herb Bruser Automotive Hardware for thirty years. He is survived by his wife Barbara, and daughter, Julie Bruser (Tom Saccomanno).
