Christine M. Nagle, 78, Galena, passed away on October 1, 2018 at Galena Stauss Nursing Home surrounded by her loving husband. She was born on November 14, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of Dr. Richard and Charolette (Andersen) Lawler. She was united in marriage to Gerald Nagle on May 14, 1982 at Christ the King Church in Chicago, and he survives. Chris enjoyed reading and keeping up with local and national events. She loved to travel and has been all over the world. She also adored her four-legged friends being a great caregiver to them over the years. We will miss Chris’s vibrant personality and wonderful smile. Surviving are her husband Gerald of Galena; sister, Rosemary (Teddy); brother-in-law Michael (Lois); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services and burial will be held at a later time. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, is assisting the family.
